Bill Yelverton

Graduating in North Carolina, Bill started his career in Financial Services. Working in Merrill Lynch for over ten years, he gained experience in private wealth management, equity capital markets and asset management in Europe and the Middle East. He ran the Merrill Lynch International offices in Greece and the UAE.

Bill then moved to Prudential-Bache International Limited, where he was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In addition to focusing on sales and revenue growth, Bill was also active in recruiting, retention and compensation.

He then moved to found YConsult, a management consulting and advisory firm based in London. Providing a wide range of services including strategic planning, sales force training and product design and development for the private wealth industry has given Bill an edge in understanding client needs.

Since joining Garner International, Bill has specialised predominantly in retail financial services search work for FTSE 10 companies. In particular looking at ways in which to build talent at board level and build a pipeline of raw talent ‘two clicks below’ for effective succession planning.
