Julian Ortner

Julian has worked in executive search for nine years. Before joining Garner International he was a consultant for a niche firm in the City and was responsible for various functional specialists including legal, reward, executive compensation, pensions, HR, share plans and corporate governance for practices, consultancies and accounting firms.

He has a wealth of experience with major blue chip corporate clients, including BP, Vodafone, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Linklaters, Nabarro Nathanson, Eversheds, Halliwell Consulting, Hewitt Associates, Mourant, Ernst & Young, Royal Bank of Scotland, New Bridge Street Consultants, Lloyds TSB, Barclays Capital and NAPF.

Whilst Julian handles primarily professional sector clients, he has also undertaken a variety of other searches, from a Plc CEO in the automotive sector to an HR Director in a financial services business. Here he uses his transferable skills to operate in new vertical markets.
