Margaret Edge

Margaret Edge has worked extensively over the last twenty years in the areas of executive recruitment, talent management and leadership development, both in-house and as an external consultant. She has held senior line human resources roles in Retail and Leisure businesses which have been facing significant change, and also undertaken short-term assignments within the Financial Services sector and consultancy assignments in the IT, Property, Telecoms, Financial Services, Retail, Consumer and Public sectors.

During this time Margaret has worked with a number of search and consulting firms and understands the importance of developing collaborative relationships, delivering a result and high levels of customer service. Her executive recruitment experience in Kingfisher, The Rank Group and, more latterly, at Sainsbury's, where she was Head of Resourcing and Development for five years, has spanned all functions and been instrumental in strengthening the senior team and roles critical to business turnaround.

Margaret has a BA in Modern Languages, post graduate qualifications in Education and Personnel Management and is a qualified assessor. Prior to this she spent ten years working in education.
